5. Good relationships
They become ‘like-minded’ in a small family and hence they have good relationships with each other.
6. Children can maintain study well
Large numbers of a family member can disturb children for their own work but in a small family case, there is no such issue. Means, children can maintain their study well in a small family.
A small family maybe consisting of three to four people i.e. Mother, father and one child and hence, responsibility in the child is high compared to big family children.

The disadvantage of Nuclear Family
1. More likely to be isolated from their family members
As they are a nuclear family (small family), they do not get the support of their family members and hence they are isolated from their family members.
There is only one person to handle and manage all the activities and family members so there is more workload on one person.
3. Hardly afford expensive things
They do not earn more because their head of the family is involved in many things which ultimately negatively impacts his working and earning and hence, their earning is too less so that, they cannot afford expensive things.
4. Lack of guidance in the tough situation
They all think based on their experience and they can get support from the head only and hence, they cannot get proper guidance in tough situations.
5. They think in the limited area
As above explained, they do not have a high vision based on their experience and knowledge base and hence, they think in a limited area. This means they think about “How to get a job” not “How to make money”.
6. Lack of discipline
Members of small families focus on their own and hence, they are not able to teach their child about discipline and hence there is a lack of discipline in them.
7. It is hard for them to be open to others
They are open to their like-minded people means only to their family members so, they feel/face difficult to be open to others surrounding them.
8. Low relations
As they have less number of people in their family and they are not good to be open to others, they have fewer relationships.
9. The main person of the family has more responsibility
Their life depends on the main head of their family but he is involved in so many tasks due to his responsibility and hence, he has more workload compared to others.
10. Feel loneliness
They get privacy which has no doubt but however, to some extent, they feel loneliness in living.
